Trinity Scout Group

Spring News...

March has been busy for Trinity Scouts.
On the 19th the Scouts joined the rest of the district at Ashridge to take part in Beacon Assault. This was a 5 mile challenge with a number of tasks to complete. They included a map symbol challenge, crossing a crocodile infested water challenge, a semaphore challenge, a knot challenge, a pioneering challenge. The team of six came third out of ten.
The 24-26th March six of the scouts joined Heath and Reach Scouts at the Caldecotte Experience, where they stayed in Yurts to sleep and eat. They joined in activities including zorbing, climbing and archery.
The Cubs organised and led a pop up fayre, with stalls such as tin can alleys, guess the number of sweets, beat the goalie, guess the name of the teddy, how long can you lift the weighted down bucket? And many more. They raised £60 for the RSPCA.
We are all looking forward to the summer and lighter nights.
