From the Methodist Conference 2016
Methodists against racism and discrimination - statement from Conference
In line with a resolution from Methodist Conference a statement was read at services at Trinity on 10 July asking all to challenge racism and discrimination following the EU referendum result. We are all encouraged to contact our MP using the text which can be found on the Church Notice board, and the Methodist Church website here http://methodist.org.uk/nationallife.
In addition Methodist people are urged to wear an empty safety pin as a badge symbolising solidarity against racism.
