What we believe

We believe that we are called to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Jesus Christ and to live out our discipleship in worship and mission.

We do this through:

  • worship
  • learning and caring
  • service
  • evangelism

We believe that through Jesus’ death and resurrection, God has broken the power of evil in the world and opened up a way for everyone to be reconnected with his love. If we accept his forgiveness and are open to his Holy Spirit, God can enable us to live life to the full and with purpose, just as he meant it to be.

We believe that, as Christians, we can grow in our faith by reading the Bible, by praying, by learning and supporting each other in small groups and by worshipping together as a church.

We believe that we have been called to share this Good News of Jesus with everyone so that they, too, have the opportunity to accept it if they choose.

We believe that we are called to demonstrate God’s love in practical ways, by getting involved in our community, by helping people in need and by speaking out against evil and injustice.
